A few months ago we received a message on our Facebook page asking us if we did little girl birthday parties. I had to answer that we hadn’t done one yet but we would love to figure it out. That was the beginning of what would become the cutest little girls unicorn birthday party.
We cut our own paint project designs for our parties, so first we searched for the perfect unicorn. Taking the girls ages (they were all around 7 years old) into consideration, we felt this pattern had just the right amount of detail. Paint projects and wood cut outs are chosen and cut with lines routed in. The lines work as a guide when painting, making the projects easy to paint. Painting success is always important at 141 Design Company.
We painted a sample for the girls and provided them with a custom palette of “unicorn” colors. It was fun watching them take over from there and create beautifully unique pieces.
Birthday party projects are done on a 12″ x 12″ wood pallet backer. The art cut out is a separate piece. Party guests are given step-by-step instructions for completing their project and go home with their art ready to display proudly.
Interested in coordinating your own party? We work with you to create the perfect event. We will provide the pallet backer, wood cut out, instructor and all the materials needed to complete the project. You provide the rest. Decorations, cake, party games, as little or as much as you’d like. Pricing for a 12″ x 12″ backer and wood cut out project is $35/per guest. Minimum number of guests is 4, maximum number of guests is 10. Parties typically last around 2 hours.
Projects can be customized to coordinate with your party theme. We have a variety of designs to choose from along with over 40 different paint colors.
Our paints are all a zero VOC paint and perfectly safe for your little ones to create with. Princesses, cars, dinosaurs, crowns, mermaids… you name it, we can make it happen!
